Excursion to the islands of Tavolara and Molara
Excursion to the islands of Tavolara and Molara
We specialise in offering excursions to the Protected Marine Area of Tavolor and Molara, in large rubber dinghies with skipper on board.
The tours depart daily from La Cinta beach, where you can find our fully equipped bathing resort "Zulu".
The tour lasts most of the day, we start from La Cinta at 9.30 am and the return is scheduled for 3 pm. During each stop you can bathe and swim in the crystal clear waters.
The route starts precisely from the beach of La Cinta, the second stage is the Lu Impostu beach which is located before the Capo Coda Cavallo site, the beach has a very fine light-colored sand, with bright reflections. Then you reach the beach of Cala Brandinchi surrounded by lush and wild nature and a beautiful landscape. An unmissable stop in front of the island of Proratora and visit to the grotta del forno (cave system). Following a long break in the crystal clear water pools of Molara pools close to the Cala Spagnola, navigating to Cala Chiesa, with its magnificent view of some granitic rocks, we head to the south, the island of Tavolara passing through the Occhio di Dio (Eye of God), a triangular cleft in the wall, which goes under water up to 15 meters, offering refuge, with its small internal splits, to groupers and croakers.
Once in Tavolara, one of the most interesting and not to be missed natural places on the island is the Spiaggia Spalmatore di Terra, probably the most beautiful and characteristic beach on the island. You will have an hour and a half to enjoy the beauties of the island and its beaches. Continuing our tour we will see the wreck of the Cypriot freighter "Chrisso", the only visible relic out of the water is the Greek tip. Subsequently we will reach Cala Cirgolu, the beach is divided into many small private and quiet coves overlooking a deep and lovely blue sea, before heading to the beach of La Cinta again for 3 pm.
